Registered Music Together® Teacher
Kay Sakamaki is an experienced preschool teacher for 14 years, has taught English as a Second Language and is currently the head teacher of one of the international preschools in Meguro-ku. Her skills, compassion and love of music translate to a warm environment where children are enthusiastic to play, sing, and grow.
As an experienced preschool teacher, music is one of the most fun activities she uses to educate young learners. When she learned about Music Together®, she was excited to share the program to families in her community. In November 2013, she successfully completed the training and was granted a license to open her own Music Together® center in Kakinokizaka, Meguro-ku.
Singing, chants and rhymes are effective ways to enhance their language skills, expose to different melodies, learn about rhythm, coordination and body movements. Our classes are developmental appropriate to make the most of your child’s musical experiences.
Music Together’s program develops basic music skills, such as singing in tune and moving with accurate rhythm. It also nurtures creativity, self-expression, and confidence and supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Because these benefits build over time, children enjoy the fullest growth in each of these areas when they participate in Music Together classes as consistently as possible during early childhood.

Tiny tot and I Music Together® is more than just a ‘Mommy and Baby’ class. It is a fun class for the whole family.
The activities will let you engage with your child in a very nurturing environment. Parents have a great chance bonding with their child as they laugh, sing and be silly!! We shake instruments, play the drums, wiggle with bells, sway with scarves and more. It is a whole body experience!
